Sunny Days Ahead

This warmer weather is getting me excited for summer, and with summer right around the corner now’s the time to think about sun protection. Unfortunately, environmental elements are the hardest on our skin and almost impossible to avoid.

I have come to realize how delicate our skin is, although we put it through the wringer on a daily basis. We have to wear this skin every day for the rest of our lives, so let’s take care of it. Now that I have a toddler and recognize the importance of sun protection, I want to encourage everyone to become more savvy consumers when choosing sun protection products.

My go-to product for sun protection is always Beautycounter. Not only does this product smell delightful, it was created with the entire family in mind. It’s lightweight, water resistant, loaded with aloe and formulated with non-nano zinc oxide, so it doesn’t leave a white residue! Here’s the best part about it… it’s totally clean. Beautycounter has banned 1,500 ingredients, setting a new health and safety standard.

Their sun protection products I use all the time are the SPF 30 water resistant sunscreen, the stick and the protecting lip balm. I always keep the stick on me and it’s easy to reapply while on the go – even Charlie likes to use it!

If you haven’t already discovered Beautycounter, I highly recommend that you do. This company is legit. Their mission is a mission close to my heart, and they are dedicated to getting SAFE products into the hands of everyone.

I have tried a variety of their products and have loved each and every one. This definitely won’t be the last Beautycounter product that you will be hearing about from me.

Heather Wilson introduced me to this company about one year ago and I’m happy she did. If there’s one thing I know about this woman is that she wouldn’t stand behind a product she wasn’t passionate about.

Here is a link to place an order, I highly suggest that you do so:

To help you jump-start your summer skin protection, Heather is giving away a free sun block stick to the first person that shares this post on their social channels. Get to it!
